Rouen-les-Essarts Circuit
Set in attractive woodland in Normandy, France, Rouen-les-Essarts was one of Europes finest circuits. Opened by the AC de Normand in 1950, Rouen was modernized in 1952 with new pits, grandstand and wider track. The run down to the cobbled Nouveau Monde hairpin was spectacular, and the uphill return leg required a powerful engine.
